A Poison Man
I was angry with my friend;
And in the pool, he met his end.
I was angry with my foe:
And fed my wrath, and watched it grow
And I watered it in lies
Night & morning with their cries:
And I sunned it with smiles,
And with soft deceitful wiles.
And it grew both day and night,
Till it bore an apple bright.
On its skin I carved a clue,
The three letters IOU.
And to the rooftop we went.
When time came for his descent;
So the army doctor found,
My foe outstretched upon the ground.
[For the letsdrawsherlock project! Hopefully it’s obvious that it’s meant to be from Moriarty’s perspective heheh… Based on the original ‘A Poison Tree' by William Blake~!]
